Dive Charters

Let us take you there!

Our charter boat, Goanna II, is fully surveyed and equipped, and can take up to eight divers with two crew (Skipper and Dive Leader). For larger groups, we can organise an alternative vessel.

telestoIf you have your own gear, great! We can accomodate most divers, including those with a technical bent. We have the facilities to provide nitrox for nitrox certified divers.

Our hire equipment is serviced and inspected regularly. Our wetsuits are 5mm and include a hooded shorty 7mm oversuit - which keeps most divers happy even through winter.

Charters generally run from 7.30/8am till aproximatly 12.30pm.

For a standard charter we first meet divers at the shop to prepare equipment , finalise paperwork and payments.

A short drive drive to the Albany Town Marina Jetty, just 5 minutes away, and after a vessel familiarisation  briefing we head out.

On site, divers are given a briefing before the dive with the highlights, the best routes take and relevent safety information.

During the surface interval we usually head to shore to put our feet up for hot drinks (including plunger coffee because Garry can’t live without it!), cuppa soups, sweet and savoury biscuits. We change out cylinders for the second dive while on shore.

In summer we run regular dive charters, numbers allowing. During winter, we mostly dive on weekends but if you have a group of four or more we can run a charter any day of the week.

perth7For any charter, our dive destinations are decided by the skipper and ultimately dependent on appropriate weather conditions because want you to give you the best diving and have a great time!
